Advanced Medical Solutions (AMS) was originally founded as a developer and manufacturer of
modern wound care products back in 1991. Advanced Medical Solutions Group, headquartered in the United Kingdom, employing over 1,500 people in 17 locations. With several new acquisitions since 2002, AMS is always interested in expanding its horizon and product range to meet the demands and interests of users, customers, and first and foremost, the patients’ needs.
These acquisitions are also reflected in the steady growth of AMS. Continuous development of the company has grown AMS to include a comprehensive portfolio of technologies and products for any surgical discipline, including skin adhesives, internal fixation systems and sealants, regenerative collagens with and without antibiotics, oxidised cellulose, bone substitutes, sutures, alginates, and foams.
AMS manufactures its products and technologies at twelve production sites and they are sold in more than 75 countries around the world.
